Government of India and the state governments together allot 200 crores for the smart city project. Silicon City Bangalore is participating in the Smart City Challenge and entries from the citizens suggesting ideas to turn Bangalore into a Smart City have been requested. Kiccha Sudeep has been appointed as the brand ambassador for this smart city campaign. The BBMP will be rewarding citizens with Rs. 1 lakh if your idea is selected.
